Two minute tête a tête with Olivia Rose Havelock
Olivia Rose Havelock hand makes each of her beautiful pieces to order from her studio in Edinburgh. Each gorgeous garm’ takes her around 4 hours to complete.
Olivia hails from the small Northern town, Middlesborough but currently lives in the Scottish capital. She studied textile and fashion design at Chelsea College of Art in London and went on to set up the independent British clothing label.
Her collections are a combination of the ~ all important ~ #boldshoulder paired with classic tailoring and dreamy prints that deeply affect (no? just me then?) the millennials who are lusting after life as an extra in Pride and Prejudice *waves maniacally*.
Her dedication to opposing fast fashion allows Olivia to remain nimble with her stock levels while offering her customers a really personal and unique experience. It’s this ‘shopping for the soul’ ethos that has seen my new queen making waves for a while. She’s been featured by Vogue, Elle and Harpers Bazaar and with celebs like Dua Lipa heading out in her designs it comes as no surprise that she can now deservedly boast Selfridges as a stockist.
I hit up Olivia for a two minute insta DM chat to find out a bit more…
